Hi there! My name is Whitney Atwood and I am the gal behind the lens. I graduated from SIUC in 2010 with a bachelors in cinema and photography. I have had my studio since 2011. I think one of my favorite things about my business is the friendships I have formed over the years. I love all of my repeat clients who have become almost like a second family to me. I have been allowed to watch some of your families grow and I am so honored that you have allowed me to do that. 

Here is a little bit about my little family. I have a wonderful husband, an awesome son, a joyful middle daughter and a spunky youngest daughter who I get to share this life with. We are a farm family so between taking dinners to the field, the kids being involved in all kinds of sports and my business we are a rather busy bunch. 

Photography allows us to remember and that is probably why I love it so much. Time moves quickly and what better way to remember something than looking back at a photograph to remember.

• You will learn I am very random - ALWAYS!
• Laughter is the best medicine in life and I do it alot!
• I love watching Netflix while I edit. My favorite is Friends and Grey's Anatomy. 
• My favorite chocolate candy is Reese's. 
• My favorite non chocolate candy is Starbursts'. 
• I love shells and cheese but hate cheese on any sandwich.
• I love me some chips and salsa.
• My absolutely favorite food though is pizza, it is my love language.
• Apparently I am a bit of a foodie. If you are reading this, most of these have been about food!
• I love to bake and cook.
• Favorite color is pink but when it comes to what I wear it is normally black. 
• Canon EOS R5 is what is strapped to me.
• I absolutely love shooting in new locations!
• Photographing outside is my favorite.
